Today’s pre-orders are a hobby buffet that empties wallets quickly. Ogors headline the week, and they arrive with proper table presence.
However, the releases also cover Titan weapons, Middle-earth classics, and Black Library. So, while the Mawtribes get the biggest plate, there is plenty here for several hobby corners.
Ogor Mawtribes Lead a Packed Pre-order Week
The main event is the new Ogor Mawtribes Army Set for Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and it looks like a chunky launch box in every sense. The set includes a Tyrant, two Maulbeast Cavalry, three Ironguts, and 10 Gluttons.
That is a solid, aggressive core for anyone who wants big lads smashing across the Mortal Realms. Also, the box includes Battletome: Ogor Mawtribes with an exclusive cover found only in this set. That matters because army boxes always feel better when they include the real rules engine.
You are not just buying bodies, you are getting the book, lore, warscrolls, and faction direction together. In practical terms, the 52 warscroll cards are also welcome. Nobody enjoys flipping through pages mid-fight while their opponent waits to roll saves. However, Australian and New Zealand players should note the product is delayed there.
Meanwhile, Legions Imperialis gets some gloriously excessive Titan weapon support. The preview lists a Warlord Titan with Quake Cannon and Conversion Beam Extirpator, another with Volkite Destructor and Macro-gatling Blaster, and a Reaver Titan with Graviton Obliterator and Volkite Annihilator.
Better yet, all three weapon sets will be available separately. That is exactly the kind of modular support Titan players need, because weapon options are half the fun.
You can tune your engine for demolition, mass fire, or weird exotic destruction. However, these Titan releases are delayed in Japan. Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game fans also get a neat Made to Order wave from the old vaults.
Uruk-Hai receive two separate Commanders sets, each with a Captain and Banner warrior. They also get a Battering Ram, which feels perfect for Isengard siege collections. Additionally, 12 Uruk-Hai Scouts return for Amon Hen-style hunting parties.
Rohan players are not left out either, as a two-model Commanders set helps muster the horse-lords against Isengard.
Black Library then brings back Mephiston in a limited edition box set collecting Blood of Sanguinius, Revenant Crusade, and City of Light. Each book gets a sombre red-and-black cover, and the set comes in a matching slipcase.
Finally, Warhammer World’s Book of Dioramas reaches its fifth edition. It includes photos, designer notes, trivia, and narrative context for those massive exhibition displays.
