The latest GW preorders lean hard into nostalgia, especially for long-time Ork collectors.
Classic metal greenskins are returning for a limited run. Meanwhile, Warhammer merchandise is already preparing for Christmas. Warhammer TV also gets an Ork-heavy week with hobby content alongside it.
Classic Orks Return While Christmas Merch Takes Over
The main attraction is a Made to Order wave of classic Ork miniatures. Nazdreg, Zodgrod Wortsnagga, and Ghazghkull Thraka all return in older metal incarnations. That gives collectors another shot at the models that defined these characters before their modern redesigns. However, Zodgrod and Nazdreg do not include their original paper banners, which completists should note.
The lineup also includes Mad Dok Grotsnik, Boss Zagstruk, and three Goff Rockers. Better yet, the famously hefty metal Deff Dread returns for anyone nostalgic for models capable of denting a table.
Alongside the Orks, Games Workshop is launching a large Christmas merchandise collection. Tree decorations include baubles, hanging ornaments, and an eight-pointed Chaos star topper.
Meanwhile, Blood Angels and Goff Orks get festive socks, while Blood Angels also receive a hat and scarf set.
Also included are a servo-skull mouse mat, matching bottle opener, and Soulblight Gravelords bottle stopper. TOMY adds plush versions of a Tech-Priest Manipulus, Bounca the squig, and a Pink Horror. Starforged rounds things out with weapon keyrings and purity seal badges.
Warhammer TV keeps the Ork theme going with Loremasters covering the major clans. Meanwhile, Tale of Four Gamers reaches the participants’ first Combat Patrol battles.
Ultimate Paint-Off also tests the new Tone Pro paints later in the week. Finally, Warhammer Community promises more Tone Pro coverage, miniature reveals, and an Age of Sigmar quarterly update.
