Ork week keeps building momentum, and this update has real hobby teeth.
First, the new Ork Boyz kit shows off its customization. Meanwhile, Warhammer TV throws the codex straight into a battle report. For green players, that means bits, rules, and noisy testing.
The New Ork Boyz Kit Brings Proper Mob Variety

The new Ork Boyz kit tackles one classic problem: duplicate-looking mobs. The Boss Nob gets plenty of options, including a big choppa or kombi-skorcha. Also, he can add either a kustom choppa or power klaw. He has four heads and two boss poles, which matters in bigger mobs. Since 20 Boyz can include two Nobz, they need distinct swagger.

The regular Boyz are just as flexible, with nine bodies before arms and heads. Better yet, all nine bodies work with slugga, choppa, and shoota arms. That creates mixing space across left arms, right arms, and two-handed shootas.

However, the burna, big shoota, and rokkit launcha each need a specific backpack body. On top of that, the kit includes 17 heads. These range from old-school pointy helmets to modern goggles.

Finally, extra axes, slung shootas, pouches, bandoliers, shoulder pads, trophies, and three little Squigs add clutter. That is exactly the messy personality Orks need.
Warhammer TV Shows the New Codex in Action

Warhammer TV gives Ork fans the first Battle Report look at the new Codex: Orks. Ghazghkull Thraka leads the green side against Illuminor Szeras and a mean Necron force. That Necron army brings constructs, warriors, and two C’tan Shards.

So, this is not a gentle teaching game. Instead, it is green violence smashing into undead star-god nonsense. The Ork force includes Ghazghkull, Nazdreg, Snikrot, a Warboss, Meganobz, Boyz, Gretchin, Kommandos, Killa Kans, and three Big Mek Dakkarigs.

Also, the featured detachments include Green Tide, Dread Mob, and Brute Bosses. Brute Bosses lets Ghazghkull, Nazdreg, and the Warboss fight one last time if destroyed. Meanwhile, Dread Mob brings back Try Dat Button! with a new twist. Instead of adding familiar keywords, it boosts walker weapon stats directly. Results can add Attacks, Strength, or AP.

Better yet, players can roll two dice for two boons, then take a hazard roll afterward.

The lineup also includes Marc Collins on Scribes and Scriveners.

Finally, Armies of Renown covers a Mentors Chapter collection. For more details, read the original Warhammer Community Warhammer TV article.
Summary and Final Thoughts
Overall, this is a strong one-two punch for Ork fans. The Boyz kit gives hobbyists the messy variety Orks deserve. Meanwhile, the Battle Report shows how the new codex behaves under pressure.
