KING Art Games Pushes Back the Launch
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV has moved from September 17, 2026, to December 3, 2026. Meanwhile, Commander Edition early access also shifts, now opening on November 30. KING Art Games and Deep Silver announced the delay on August 12. Game director Jan Theysen said the team needs time for playtest feedback, bug fixes, performance work, and polish.
That is sensible, especially for an RTS where pathing, responsiveness, and balance matter constantly. The developers say reactions to faction trailers, Battlefield Reports, and community tests have been positive. Also, they believe the core gameplay already captures Dawn of War’s feel.
