Warhammer has a packed hobby week across several different corners.
Necromunda gets sharp new Escher support. Meanwhile, Blood Bowl Sevens offers a faster way to play. Also, the events calendar looks busy for competitive and narrative players.
House Escher Gets New Tools for the Underhive

House Escher gets in early for the new Necromunda edition with Matriarchs, Phyrr Cats, and the first Underhive Journal. The new kit adds a Gang Queen with a power axe, five Gang Matriarchs, and two vicious Phyrr Cats. That is a great little character bundle, especially for players who like their gangs stylish and mean.

Also, these models work as leaders, champions, pets, or options from Underhive Journal: Escher, The House of Blades. It brings faction lore, rules, Wyld Hunts focused on lethal beasts, and Chymist Cults built around toxins. Meanwhile, campaign players get Escher-themed Territories, side jobs, and new Gang Tactics. Better yet, every Great House will receive similar treatment, which gives the new edition a strong update path. For more details, read the original Warhammer Community Necromunda article.
Blood Bowl Sevens Keeps the Hits Fast and Mean

Blood Bowl Sevens looks like the perfect answer for coaches short on time. However, the core game remains familiar, while the format cuts things down hard. Teams field seven players, play on a smaller pitch, and only get six turns per half. Therefore, every activation matters, and mistakes should feel even bloodier than usual.

Drafting also changes the tone, with 600,000 gold, only four non-Linemen allowed, expensive rerolls, and scarce sideline staff. However, the Veteran Lineman rule adds a nice bit of character. One Lineman becomes slower but gains a once-per-game reroll for certain actions.

League play changes advancement too, replacing normal SPP with one random skill after each game. Overall, it sounds scrappier, faster, and ideal for weeknight leagues. For more details, read the original Warhammer Community Blood Bowl Sevens article.
Warhammer Events Bring Tournaments, Painting, and Big Destinations

Meanwhile, the events slate is huge, and it covers several kinds of hobby energy. The UK National Tournament Series hits premium venues with tall tables, extra space, refreshments, lunch, drinks vouchers, and goodie packs. Also, awards cover gaming and painting, including Best Overall, Best General, and the top three painted armies. These events are also World Championships of Warhammer qualifiers, so the stakes are real. Warhammer 40,000 players will use new ready-painted terrain, which should make tables feel sharper immediately.

Epsom Downs opens the series in September with 40K Singles and Age of Sigmar Doubles. Meanwhile, Telford follows with 40K Doubles and Age of Sigmar Singles. Kempton Park then returns to Surrey with another 40K Singles and Age of Sigmar Doubles event.

Golden Demon at Spiel Essen brings the painting crowd to Germany in October, with tickets and entry details through Spiel. Also, the Warhammer booth and Kill Team Live laser tag add some convention fun.

The Warhammer Opens continue in Newport, Krakow, Atlanta, and Palm Springs. Finally, Newport brings major tournaments, narrative play, and hobby challenges. Krakow focuses on team events, while Atlanta is the last 2026 championship qualifier. Overall, this update shows Games Workshop pushing models, rules, and events together nicely.
