Imperial Kill Teams: A New Era of Kill Team Warfare!

A fresh edition of Kill Team has stormed the battlefield, bringing updated rules for the most strategic and immersive edition yet. At launch, players will have access to 33 Classified Kill Teams, with rules available for free on Warhammer Community. Let’s dive into the deadly factions of the Imperium and see what tools they have at their disposal.

Death Korps of Krieg: Relentless Veterans

Returning with a new name, the Death Korps of Krieg are back to serve the Emperor. These Veteran Guardsmen are known for their unwavering loyalty and their willingness to dive headlong into combat without hesitation. Though they may be mere humans in a galaxy filled with monstrous foes, they make up for it with sheer numbers and discipline.

Their faction rule allows their Watchmaster to issue Guardsman Orders to nearby allies, such as Take Aim!, which provides re-rolls to attack dice. They are also experts in siege warfare, equipped with Comm-beads and the ability to Saturate areas, denying opponents cover saves.

Kasrkin: The Elite of Astra Militarum

The Kasrkin are the Astra Militarum’s elite soldiers, drawn from the legendary world of Cadia. Armed with top-tier gear and supreme training, they excel in both close-quarters and ranged combat.

During the Strategy Phase, Kasrkin teams can activate one of four Skill at Arms options. For example, Light ‘em Up turns normal ranged hits into critical hits, making them devastating at range. They’re also equipped with Adaptive Equipment, like smoke and stun grenades, to flexibly meet any battlefield challenge.

Adeptus Arbites: Brutal Enforcers

Exaction Squads from the Adeptus Arbites enforce the Emperor’s law with ruthless efficiency. These squads are equipped with shock mauls and assault shields, using the Repress rule to quell any unrest with violence. They can even fire into combat with no penalties and have access to disorienting Strobing Phosphor-Lumen.

The feared Arbites Castigator smashes through enemy lines with an excruciator maul, delivering swift and brutal justice to those who dare oppose the Emperor’s will.

Imperial Navy Breachers: Void Warfare Experts

Specializing in close-quarters combat aboard space hulks, voidcraft, and orbital stations, the Imperial Navy Breachers clear rooms methodically. Their Breach and Clear tactic allows them to operate in perfect sync to eliminate threats. Their void-sealed armor protects them from flames and explosives, making them resilient under fire.

The Navis Endurant excels in close-combat scenarios, using their hefty shields to push back enemies and protect their squad.

Sisters Novitiates: Zealous Faith-Bearers

The Sisters Novitiates are recruits in the Adepta Sororitas, proving their worth through deadly missions. Their faith in the Emperor manifests in Acts of Faith, allowing them to spend Faith Points to turn the tide of battle.

The Novitiate Pronatus specializes in uncovering relics, generating extra Faith Points when they find items crucial to their holy mission.

Inquisitorial Agents: Elite Investigators

When rebellion, heresy, or xenos sedition is found, the Inquisition steps in. Inquisitorial Agents form unique kill teams of specialists, including operatives from other factions like the Death Korps, Kasrkin, and Exaction Squad.

Their Absolute Authority allows them to block enemies from using Ploys, and a Servo-skull helps them complete mission-critical tasks without distractions. The fiery zeal of the Hexorcist can make even the most hardened foes question their faith.
