Hello Everyone,At my local club we are wrapping up our first major crusade campaign, and what better way to do it then with an apocalypse game! We had six players altogether, 2 guard, 1 ork, 1 ork/eldar hybrid, 1 Space Marine, and 1 Tau player. Half the players had been playing in the crusade campaign.

Narrative Review – Ynnari (Aeldari Part 1)
Hi All,After taking a few days to go over the tome that is the new Aeldari codex I think I have figured out how to review the narrative rules. The book contains detailed rules for not only the Harlequins and Craftworld Eldar but also the Ynnarri (as the title gives away). Since the rules don’t…
Announcing: The Great Crusade Survey!
Hi All,With the Crusade rule set starting to reach maturity I thought now would be a good time to start an annual set of surveys. I am curious to see if people are enjoying the rule set and if my perceptions are accurate. Thus I have built the following survey that you can access here:…
Adepticon Preview – Warhammer Fantasy Narrative Event
Hello All, Continuing on in our series highlighting upcoming narrative events, we have a very special guest today. Paul Wagner and Will Simpson were kind enough to answer a few questions about the event and give…
Death Guard Codex – Narrative Review
Hello All,I am continuing on with my catch up trail through the older codex crusade rules. This book is interesting as it marks the first time we see GW introduce army-specific rules that are wider then a single naming or honorific system. Army Special Rules:As I said this is the first appearance of a point-based…
40k Stoat’s Center: New Codex Buying Guide
Hello All, With the new Eldar codex releasing in a few weeks I thought I would write a quick buying guide for players looking to jump into the army. As I wrote this I realized that the tips I am writing can be applied to all new codexes as GW has some consistent trends in…
Space Marines Codex – Narrative Review
As I continue playing catch up on my crusade reviews I figured I would segue into the Space Marines next. This book released near the Necron books and shows some of the same limitations. These early books have a very different feel from the intense rules of the later crusade rules and so I am…

Hello All, After our intro to the narrative event last month I brought Kyle back on to discuss how the event went and his thoughts for the future. 1. So how did the story go! What was the epic conclusion of the narrative?Story wise the planet was strip mined, robbed and looted of all the…
