40k The Screamer Killer Through the Ages

We got a cool look at the evolution of the carnifex, and the Screamer Killer sub-variant on the Warhammer Community site today.

The original model pre-dates my time in the hobby quite a bit, but you scan see how they have incorporated the older elements in this new model.

Starting in 3rd edition the model began to take on more distinctly Tyranid-esque features that we know and love today.

#3 was a new kit when I had just started playing 40k. The Nids were my first army and, back then, certain heads meant that it had certain abilities which was kinda cool. The new model looks like it will be a beast, and I hope the older models also get these great rules. The Carnifex is such a distinctive staple of the 40k genre, and it is is nice to see it get the spotlight.
