This week’s GW Pre-Orders are led by one of Age of Sigmar’s biggest new faction launches.
The Khazalite Holds finally march out from beneath the Mortal Realms. Meanwhile, Warhammer 40,000 players get Games Workshop’s first ready-painted plastic terrain set. Black Library and Warhammer TV also add several worthwhile extras.
Khazalite Holds Lead a Packed Week of New Releases

The Khazalite Holds Army Set introduces the new duardin faction with a complete Spearhead force. Hjulda Drakkblud leads ten Clanshields, three Gholems of Gazul, and an imposing Oathkeeper Cannon.

Consequently, the box offers a useful mix of infantry, durable constructs, artillery, and a named hero immediately. It also contains Battletome: Khazalite Holds with an Army Set-exclusive cover and 53 warscroll cards. Better still, everything inside forms Drakkblud’s Clanguard Spearhead, so buyers can start playing without additional purchases. However, this launch box is only available while stocks last.

Warhammer Day also brings Oath Fulfilled, the scarred Darkoath Warqueen revealed earlier this month. She works as a standard Warqueen in Slaves to Darkness armies or as a characterful display project. Likewise, availability lasts only while stock remains.

Warhammer 40,000 receives something genuinely unusual through Battlefields: Armageddon. This is Games Workshop’s first ready-painted plastic terrain release for 40K. The box includes eight large ruins, eight smaller ruins, Shock Arrays, Capacitor Stacks, barricades, Generator Shrines, and Galvanic Pylons.

Additionally, terrain footprints and game boards support every layout in the 2026-27 Chapter Approved Mission Deck. Every scenery piece is push-fit, meaning players can build a tournament-ready battlefield without glue or painting. Some pieces remain customizable, which should stop tables feeling completely identical.

Black Library adds Gary Kloster’s Shadow of the Silver Wolf in hardback. The story follows Neave Blacktalon and her companions into fog-shrouded Greybank, where a supernatural curse attacks memory, loyalty, and faith.

Warhammer TV also launches the first episode of Arkanaut on Friday. Meanwhile, Noah van Nguyen appears on Scribes and Scriveners, and Orks battle Imperial Knights in Wednesday’s Battle Report. Warhammer Community will also spend the week exploring Khazalite Holds rules and warscrolls.
Final Thoughts
Overall, these GW Pre-Orders feel unusually varied despite the Khazalite Holds taking center stage. The Army Set gives Age of Sigmar players a proper faction launch rather than a token preview. Meanwhile, ready-painted Armageddon terrain could be especially attractive for clubs and tournament organizers wanting fast, consistent tables.
