Star Wars: Legion Weekly Play Packs Give Store Nights a Stronger Reason to Matter

Atomic Mass Games is giving weekly Legion nights a nice little extra push. The new Weekly Play kits turn regular store games into a steady trickle of rewards.

So, this is not just about showing up once for a promo and leaving. Instead, it is built to keep players coming back, painting more, and staying plugged into their local scene.

Weekly Play Turns Your FLGS Routine Into a Rolling Promo Hunt

The system is pretty straightforward, which is probably why it works. The first time you play at your local store, you grab a redemption card from the organizer. That card works like a punch card, and each week you can earn two punches. Those come from playing games, painting miniatures, or otherwise taking part in the community.

Once you hit two punches, you get a Weekly Play booster pack. Each pack contains three random promo cards, and that random element is clearly part of the hook. Some are alternate art, while others use holographic or foil treatments. Then there are the extra-rare versions with even flashier finishes and unique art. So, the whole setup feels like a slow-burn collectible chase rather than a one-and-done event handout.

Meanwhile, the packs rotate every three months, which keeps things from going stale. Each rotation also focuses on different factions, so availability shifts over time. For example, one set may spotlight the Galactic Empire, while another leans hard into the Galactic Republic. That means collectors, faction diehards, and regular players all have a reason to keep checking in. Overall, this is a smart way to reward consistency and make store play feel alive.
