These demigods of war, loyal to Sigmar, are often the decisive factor in battles across the realms, fighting alongside armies of Order such as the Cities of Sigmar and the Daughters of Khaine. In the upcoming Battletome: Stormcast Eternals, Order armies can now hire Regiments of Renown composed of these lightning-infused warriors to bolster their forces.
Two standout Regiments of Renown featured in this release include:
- Knight-Draconis Adlus Valnir’s Stormwing: This fearsome unit of Stormdrake Guard serves as flying dragons of fiery vengeance. The Draconith, longtime allies of Sigmar, join forces through their bond with Dracothian, the Celestial Drake. Valnir and his bodyguard, Ortana, execute the devastating Hour of Retribution maneuver, allowing them to add +1 to Wound and Save rolls once per battle, delivering decisive strikes from the skies.
- Lord-Aquilor Tyran Veld’s Horizon Seekers: A regiment of elite scouts, led by Lord-Aquilor Tyran Veld, composed of Vanguard-Palladors and Vanguard-Hunters. Known for their expert knowledge of the eight realms, the Horizon Seekers utilize Ride the Winds Aetheric to redeploy and outmaneuver their enemies in the blink of an eye. Together, they mark foes for death and unleash relentless assaults with their boltstorm pistols and starstrike javelins.
These Regiments of Renown can be added to any Order army, offering versatile reinforcements to factions like the Lumineth Realm-Lords or Sylvaneth, who could certainly benefit from the addition of Draconith in their ranks or Palladors dashing through their forest ambushes.
