Jon Bernthal to return to the screen as the Punisher in an MCU Movie.
This is the best news I’ve read in a long time. Jon’s rendition of the Punisher was easily the best of the many attempts at playing the character over the years on the screen. He just nails the mood and tone perfectly and even looks like Frank Castle. I am stoked to see this happen after the cancellation of the series on Netflix.

I do still kinda want to hunt up a copy of the old Punisher movie with Dolph Lundgren just for shits and giggles, but Bernthal is unquestionably best Punisher.

They had the 2004 Punisher movie on there for a while, but I don’t recall seeing the 1989 one.

Jon bernthal is amazing no question about that, but even though he didnt look the part tom jane did a wonderful job as the punisher, nailed the dark attitude, and him narrating the game was the best.
