The Elric Saga sits on my shelf as I write this, in eyesight. One of my all-time favorite fantasy series, if this comes to TV and is done well it’ll be incredible. It is also a MAJOR inspiration for much of the lore in Warhammer, particularly when it comes to Chaos.
However, it’s also one of the darkest, most nihilistic book series I’ve ever read, completely pitch black in tone with only the most abstract of silver linings in regards to its narrative. If a series were to follow the books faithfully, it’d be a bold choice. New Republic Pictures’ Brian Oliver and producer Bradley J. Fischer have apparently secured the rights of the story for the project but nothing else is known about it from what I can tell at this time. Here’s to hoping!

I’ve been hoping, and dreading, for an Elric, eternal-champion series, since I read them in the 80s.
No doubt the production values will be good, but like money other things since Star Wards 1-3, it’s gonna take a good director to make it work.

Hmm, who would play a good Elric…I could see Orlando Bloom doing it as he has the body type I imagine Elric having, Keanu Reeves has the right demeanor for it, like the personality would be perfect.
Corum would be cool too! These books are soo old school! (in a great way)
Yeah, honestly any of the Eternal Champions would be cool but Elric is the obvious choice to center a show around. Hopefully some of the others make an appearance in the show as they do in each other’s stories.
