News
- Come on by Frontline Gaming on Saturday the 30th of December for an LVO terrain build day! These are fun, community events and we talk hobby, hang out and build terrain as a team. Frontline Gaming provides the food and beverages to anyone that comes. We’ll also have the Second Hand Shop inventory available to browse and purchase, too!
- We’ve got some Games Workshop hobby seminars available at the LVO which will be taught by Chris Peach, one of GW’s premiere painters and someone you will see frequently on their Twitch stream. Check them out and take a class if it looks like fun, all materials and miniatures will be provided by GW.
- We have a single 40k Friendly ticket left after the refund deadline has passed and a handful of 40k Champs tickets if you wanted to participate, grab them now as soon as those are gone, the only way to get a ticket will be to take your chances at the event or buy one from someone selling their ticket. Also, we’ll begin the process of uploading the roster to BCP next week and that will be the time to start getting your list uploaded into the system.
- Check out this amazing Warmachine Elvis Striker we had custom built for the LVO Warmachine event! Thanks to Luke Sheriden and Tyson Koch for bring this amazing piece to life. And it is HUGE! We’ve got a big crowd coming to play Warmachine at the LVO, can’t wait to see who gets their name on the trophy this year.
- We’ve also got some Hobby Seminars lined up for the LVO with some interesting and informative guest ranging from the Minwargaming crew, Carl Tuttle of the Independent Characters Podcast, Atom Smasher from Tabletop Minions and very exciting, a GW seminar with Pete and Andy talking about what is to come for 40k and AoS on Thursday evening.
- New Chaos Daemon information and minis on the way! This means a new Codex for 40k and a new Battletome for AoS. Chaos Daemons and Maggotkin of Nurgle. These look fantastic and both books are sure to shake up both the 40k and AoS meta quite a bit. And again, yes, we will be using the Chaos Daemon codex at the LVO 40k champs and it and any associated FAQ will be the last piece of new material we add to the event. So, if you play Chaos, be prepared for probably changes.
