Jay and Andrew discuss GW’s announcements from AdeptiCon and what they mean for 8th Edition. Afterwards, they try to learn some lessons while discussing their biggest mistakes from this month’s tournament. In the Brown Library, everyone’s favorite space bugs may have developed some secret biotech when you weren’t looking and it just might get them back in the game.
Seizes of the Month:
Jay: Comdemnor boltguns + Yncarne = a bad time for Ynnari
Andrew: When outflanking, be sure to know which table edges are which
Brown Library:
With an FAQ from GW, the big bad Tyranid momma, the Tervigon, is back and her numbers are giving “green tide” a run for their money…or teeth.

I like the idea of the flood. Though what I really wanna do is make a nid flying circus using 1 or 2 skyblight swarms and the one that’s 2 gargoyle broods joined into a big unit with a flyrant. Basically the nid version of the barkbarkstar.
It certainly seems like a fun way to play the game.
Wolf vs Gargoyle, the classic rivalry. I say go for it! It sounds awesome. I know Andrew is pretty partial to that formation as well.
While I myself usually find aversion to armies with model numbers of that magnitude (just the painting of 80+ models terrifies me hahaha), I have actually brainstormed a very similar list. As for the skytyrant, I have found that more often than not that formation serves as a massive distraction, though I love it for the simple fact it allows me to run a melee flyrant.
Yeah, I figure since it can’t swoop might as well go ahead and use that as an excuse to kit it for melee.
