  1. What? Geoff made it to the final? The opposistion must have been soft as shit! 😉
Nah, fair play, I actually gave him a shout-out on my page Archon Timaton saying pretty much that he was making those bugs work like he was some kind of insectoid pimp, which he may just be. good to see him sticking to his guns with his army choice and you can’t get much sexier than Geoff and some Yellow-Jacket ‘Nids. Unless maybe Geoff himself was painted by FLG!
I take it Frankie chose not to win?

    1. Looks like I placed third overall based on what I was told. Had a great game against rawdogger (maintaing our record). Happy with my list and performance. I think the level of competition at this tournament is up there

        1. I had just a mishmash of stuff. A Lord Commissar with a Power Fist, a blob squad, Vets in a Taurox, Vendetta, Vulcher, Wyvern, Baneblade, Knight.

The Baneblade was mediocre at best. I brought it for fun as I have never used it in a tournament before, but I think it will be going back on the shelf for the time being =P

          1. I see they banned the HellHammer! I played against that with my Guard a few weeks ago. Only reason I got rid of it was I got the 4++ save on my blob from divination. That thing is wicked.

Regular Baneblade is kinda shoddy for the points.

  2. I was wondering what you put together Reece. I was looking forward to seeing how your scouts n assasins army would have done hopefully you can take that out sometime.

I’m surprised daemon factory didn’t do better, I’m looking forward to more details on that

Did nids get to take both formations? In this tournament? Or did he just do a flying circus build?

    1. Yeah, my Scouts and Assassins list wasn’t painted, I’ve been too busy. SO I grabbed some Random AM stuff and a Knight. It was fun.

      Vince took Nids+Living Artillery

      Geoff took Nids+Nids Allies

Both took a Malanthrope and Heirodule.

  3. Was the Firebase formation a deciding factor in the winning Tau army? My local TO is looking at allowing formations but things like the Fire cadre has him doubting.
