  1. Thanks for reviewing my 2k list! Yeah I’m worried about model count but not sure what I should bring to fill that hole, nor what I should cut. Keep up the good work fellas.

    1. We’re happy to help! And yeah, adding bodies to a Chaos list is tough to do. The Daemon side is usually where most folks bulk up their army. Good luck with it!

          1. Are they troops?
I might make a group of guys that have angel wings and little jetpacks for my army for them, call them “The Angels of death”

  2. Guys, love the show, but…

When discussing 30k releases why do you have to refer to 40k rules (yeah I know more people play it).

Gal Vorbak in 30k are immense! The sergeant guy (Dark Martyr) has 3 wounds, can for 10pts get artificer armour and can get a power fist for St 10 Power fisting with base 3 attacks. Oh and the whole unit has 2 wounds, power armour, rending, daemon, T5 and power armour. Stick these guys in a Land Raider and they are incredibly destructive. 10 in a Spartan with a Chaplain is downright trolling.

I’ll get back in my 30k box now…

    1. The reason we didn’t mention that is because we didn’t know about it. Neither Frankie nor myself has ever played 30K and we actually don’t own any of the books. We look at all the releases in how they relate to 40K.

      1. Yeah, get that, just seems odd to only mention a use which is essentially ‘counts as’ a fairly meh 40k unit as these guys are bigger and on 40mm bases. That they aren’t just possesed is what, other than the beautiful sculpts, makes them worth the price tag. Guess I’ve been waiting for these models for ages so the description on the show made me reach for the keyboard to advocate for their true use.

Heresy is awesome, if the models weren’t so expensive and there were more players I’d contemplate full switch over from 40k fully recommend it.

Who doesn’t want to fire 80 bolter shots from a single Tac squad!

  3. If this is too much info then feel free to delete this.

Gal Vorbak are 30k-unit in Word Bearers list. Unit costs 200pts and has 4 dudes and 1 champ. They are Elites. Extra dudes costs 30pts/dude. One in five can take special weapons which includes power weapons. No options for transports.

They have special rules: Daemon, stubborn, Bulky, Rage, Rending (all melee regardless of weapon), deep strike and Damned (never-ever scoring)

    WS BS S T W I A Ld Sv
    5 4 5 5 2 5 2 8 3+ (champ has +1W/A/Ld)

    1. The 3 wound Martyr in artificer armour and power fist I find does most of the heavy lifting for the unit. Power Klaw Nob on steroids. Beeeeeeefcake!
