Mordheim is awesome glad to see it played again. You may know this but a word of caution against allowing warbands not from the rule book in your campaign. I suggest not allowing them as the carnival of chaos and dwarf warbands whilst cool and fluffy break and unbalance the game.
Awesome to see a mordheim post! Not sure that you would want any build help but your undead list is trash. First always go sword as the gear. Double on the vampire that gives you both the extra attack and a rerollable parry. This is a great build on a character. Plus your vamp should have rolled some skills since he starts with twenty exp. I’d give him at least scale sheer surface and maybe swordsman. The dreggs really should only have a sword at most since they are so cheap and generally suck. Add that with their free dagger and they have a plus attack and a parry. Either a sword or halberd is good(+1 strength on that) as for the zombies use them as portable cover in front. In the undead army they are cheapand expendable and so move them around with dreggs and the necro. The vamp is usually fast and normally I’ve seen him be a good flanker with gouls.
As for the mercs once again I would lose the hammers they aren’t worth it build with swords. Also I like halberds on the young bloods to be good tar pits. As for the bowmen its good to have a lot but I would drop the long bow and the other gear and go only reg bows. Then the extra points to swordsman for hero support or hunting also remember the daggers give a plus one to the save.
I actually beat kyle after this game, we played skirmish and I hid in a building until he came at me and I ran out and engaged his models when he got close. I got lucky and he failed his rout test. Though, brother marshal, i think you are wrong about characters starting xp, The xp of leaders (the vampire for-instance) is factored into their starting stats and abilities you don’t roll for upgrades with the 20 starting xp.
Neeeeeeed more. Always loved Mordheim.
It’s gotten super popular at the store, everyone is playing.

Yeah, Pascal’s Undead have yet to win a game, hahaha, so I think he would appreciate the help! I will ask him to pop in and rely.
