In regards to the Wall of Martyrs, they already have advance orders up. To get all the parts individually, it costs $216.25, which is a 35% price increase.
In defense of the Wargames con win the same thing that happened to Ben happened to me the year before when I came in 2nd place at Wargames Con. I ended the event Undefeated but came in 2nd place to Shaun who had a major loss.
I agree that Win/Loss/Draw is a better overall approach.
I believe the winner overall was Andrew Gonyo (aka Target on dakka).
