In this battle, Reecius calls Frankie out as Frankie has been kicking his butt lately and Reecius wants to show him who’s boss! Reecius busts out his Blood Guard against the much feared Harliestar. Despite the psychic defense Eldrad provides, can the Blood Guard pull it off? Or will Reecius’ shameful losing streak continue?!
The v1.1 FAQ says to ignore the scouts rule on vendettas/valks.
Awesome, thanks. I missed that.
Frankie!!!!
Good battle report. I like the use of the BAO format and increase in points to 1750. It’s good to see the games played and understand what it should look like… It looks like fun. Thanks guys!
Frankie got lucky! Haha, just kidding, he kicked my butt pretty solidly and my dice were terrible. Not a good combination!
The BAO scenario works quite well, if you try it out, let us know how you liked it.
Cant wait for frankie to paint his army!
Haha, right? It’s mostly painted.
Go outside, build a pyre, and burn those dice! A sacrifice to the dice god is your only hope Reece!
Hahaha, that might have to happen!
I never leave home without my dozer blades man! Saves my butt at least once per game.
No kidding! I wouldn’t normally take the risk of gong through terrain, but getting a Hellhound shot on an un-fortuned Harliestar was worth the risk. I could have really hit that unit hard and taken some of the teeth out of it.
Oh well! That just wasn’t my game.
Reece, your luck and my luck have een identical lately. It is frustrating.
Hahaha, tell me about it! I have been getting owned lately!
Was you using mephy as you warlord? I was under the impression that allies hq can be the warlord?
You are correct, allies can’t be the Warlord. We corrected that before we started, but forgot to mention it on tape.
Was Mephiston your Warlord?
And if you did roll the Move-through-Cover Warlord Trait, you may wanna read that entry again. Your Hellhound could have moved through terrain without testing for dangerous terrain!
Meph couldn’t be the Warlord as he was an ally. We corrected that mistake before we started. And yes, Conqueror of cities would have allowed me to avoid that! Haha, would have made a huge difference.
