Incoming! We’ll be posting a Video Battle Report using the 6th ed Rules Monday! What armies to play?

Get ready for it boys

A lot of you have been asking for a 6th ed Video Bat Rep and we’re working on it now. We’d get to it sooner, but the team is out in the field today. So stay tuned for a high quality Video Bat Rep showing the new rules in action on Monday!

We’re thinking about using Nids, Eldar, Daemons or Basic Space Marines as they all got huge boosts under these rules.

What do you all think?

  1. Generalissimo_Fred

It should be an army currently underpowered vs an army currently overpowered in order to see if the new rules move them closer together. Bugs vs. Space wolves?

  2. I am thinking Nids, too! I want to try mu bugs out under these new rules.

Blood Angels may be a good choice, too, as they benefit from a lot of the new rules.

  3. I agree it would be interesting to see some armies that in 5th are considered overpowered (Wolves/GK) vs. armies that are appear to receive a notable boost from these new rules (Daemons/Nids). I think it would be especially interesting to see the sort of lists you guys would use for SW/GKs, whether you feel it necessary to take a new approach in order for them to compete at the highest level.

Tau seems kind of irrelevant since by the time we see 6th they’ll be using a new book?

I’d also love to see a game involving Blood Angels, to see if some of the rules changes will be able to give them that push back up to “tier 1”.
