  1. “We’ve got a competitive game, tonight!”

I had to chime in, after watching the game. Not a very competitive game tbh.

I play Harlequins and I think they are quite good, specially against MEQ armies (embrace S4, -3, 1 W is top notch against those). They are obviously not a top dog in the meta right now as their troops die fairly easy to small arms fire in big numbers, and they struggle against hordes (orks, conscripts, etc). I doubt this will change (I wish it did) because they are not a terribly popular faction and I dont see GW adding more troop choices or other characters.

This Harlequin list is quite good I think but man… Turn 1. You run in the middle of everything and… let all those marines with Guilliman shoot you at their lesure? Not something a competitive player would do. There were several buildings you could hide behind to avoid LoS and make those devastators move. If the buildings dont interrupt LoS then you guys have to reconsider the terrain (you speak all the time about LoS interrupting terrain and the dangers of alpha strike in your Podcast, Pablo). You hide and next time you can move 16 inches and prolly get in range to release those fusion shots. I dont know, knowing what marines with G can do, you dont stay like that in the open. You also dont stack all your transports together in such a way that when they blow up they will give mortal wounds to all other transports and to your seer who is standing right in the middle of all of them (¿?).

In any case, I really appreciate your time to run these games and I’ve had fun with a lot of them. You start playing at 1 am here and many nights I stay up just to watch you guys (a coke and a nice game of 40k sounds like a good plan). That said, this game was dissapointing. Harlequins can do so much better.
