Here in the UK Moonclan Grot lists were especially good because of the fanatics being used piece meal to block charges and lots of netters in each unit, so the destruction FAQ was an answer to that, nice to see such a direct response to tournament stuff.
With Wildwood placement I’d say if you can’t place a wood because of terrain you don’t get it, as with models that get placed, though the FAQ does say you deploy up to 3 so you could put down 1 or 2 to reduce the footprint I think.
Fair enough, although that means depending on how you place terrain the other player could intentionally block you from putting trees down which would be a real bummer as it’s such an integral part of the Sylvaneth strategy.
Fair point, I’ve never played where players each put down terrain, like I suppose some tournaments must, so I hadn’t considered that, always just scattered it in a ‘this looks cool’ sort of way 😛
