pretty much classic…don’t deepstrike!!:). KDK are coming to you. if you miss out a reserve roll, you won’t have a unit to counter attack vs the oncoming tide. the dreadkngihts have that wonderful late game shunt as well.
Yeah, exactly. With assault armies, plan to let them come at you. Their strategy is largely set.
KDK MSU is just so fast and brutal! That mini-Deathstar really did work. How does it stand up to WK lists?
I think they would struggle with WKs…but who doesn’t? haha
WKs are a pain to deal with no matter what, but Flesh Hounds are as good at tying them up as anything is. I am huge fan of basically just running tons of Bikes, Hounds, and MaulerFiends, with the occasional JuggerLord thrown in there. I usually have one bigger Unit of Hounds and then the rest all MSU.
Is the KDK list legal? I thought an allied detachment can’t be the same faction as your primary detachment? rulebook pg: 989 for combined book
I believe he is doing two Daemonkin formations and one Chaos Space Marine allied detachment. He’d be good with that.
Ok, according to the list on the video breakdown its a khorne daemonkin allied detachment (with a herald on juggernaut listed). If that’s not the case then my mistake.
