- More new bug rumors? Oooooooh, yeah! Looks like there may be a new drop pod bug in the future, the Tyranocst? Looks fantastic if rumors hold true. This is game changing for bugs.
- More rumors of a limited edition starter box with Nids and Blood Angels similar to Storm Claw, possibly called Shield of Baal: Leviathan. Most likely a story driven campaign, rumors indicate it may tie in Crons, too. This makes sense with all the Nids releases as with Storm Claw we saw the releases bracket the actual book.
- Looks like Bretonians are not getting Squatted as their models are back up on the GW site, but, expect them to be merged into another army, most likely Empire.

Relatively new returning to the game (left back in 2nd edition when I went to college, returned at the end of 6th).

nice show as always guys.. Reece.. lictors? no.. you KNOW you’d never take them with a straight face.
Also Swarmlord in the pod i s terribad imo. Sit there for 1 turn and look mean with his 5 wounds and 3+ save while he gets his socks rocked.
Dimachaeron in a pod everytime.
I think the T-Fex would rock in the sPod!

The coolest thing is you don’t need to choose! Pod your genestealers one game, your Zoanthropes the next, your Dakka fexxes a third, and your Dimachaeron the next. Consider taking a Tervigon now as the third HQ for backfield or opposite field board control.
I’m not sure they will make a power build better, or even define a power build… but they give options, and that’s cool and fun.

Probably going to bring Dark Eldar and try and make them competitive. Maybe with a splash of Eldar for reserve manipulation and something nasty that deep strikes? 5 Wraith guard with cannons? or Blasterborn in a raider? 2 Talos or a wraith knight? Autarch on bilke with mantle or cheap with fusiongun deep striking with WWP archon?
Will try for a mostly reserve/DS army.

So, the Tyrannocyst is essentially a Smaller, weaker, cheaper Kharybdis Assault Claw with a bit more flexibility (taking 1 MC, both have 20 capacity, both have 5 guns. One costs a melta gun more than a Land Raider, the other barely more than 100 points 😛 )

Isn’t the karybdis an assault vehicle? And also I do not think the guys have to get out when it arrives
yeah, the kharybdis is still quite a bit different, though it doesn’t make it good, haha.
Stonecrusher in a pod might be fun
or if you go unbound, a riptide.
You still need to be battle bros to use the pod I think… so it’s nid only.
The Meiotic Spore Bombs seem awesome… 15 points to make a target, and almost auto pen an enemy flyer/light transport on a charge? Can you imagine having 10 of those out there- what a nasty target prioritization issue for the opponent… (assuming my 10 second rules review was on target)
I was room reservation number 4, thus leaving 3 rooms. I greatly look forward to this as it will be my first Warhammer GT. It was an article on this site that actually cracked the hard hard shell over my dried up shriveled black heart, that actually convinced me to go.

So many good options for the new tyranid spores, it hurts my brain to think of them all.
Since the Tyrannocyte don’t use up a slot why wouldn’t run like 10 of them just for objective camping. T5 with 6 wounds would take a bit totale out.
Yeah, there is a potential to abuse pods and the spores both… I suspect at some point they become dedicated transports again. Then again, if the tyrannocytes were objective secured, they might be even better than now, flexibility is one thing

I got a little excited when I heard about Powered Play’s new Kickstarter for powered 40mm bases. I knocked out a prototype to start getting some ideas flowing about how I will use the bases when I get them.
