This week’s Warmachine preview is setting up a very busy November.
Lock & Load US will deliver major reveals alongside competitive and narrative gaming. Meanwhile, Menoth and Storm Legion releases continue filling the schedule. Black Friday will also bring several substantial bundles for newer and existing players. This is a summary of a community post found here.
Lock & Load and Black Friday Lead the Warmachine Preview
Warmachine’s latest week began with the November 3D pack, including Extreme Stallos and Menoth warjack conversion parts. Meanwhile, the Cryx Dread Armada FronTier closed with more than 1,200 Pioneers. November now shifts toward Menoth and Cygnar, including two Covenant of the Flame army boxes and refreshed Storm Legion releases. However, the biggest Warmachine preview arrives November 6 at 8pm CST from Lock & Load US. The St. Louis event runs through November 8, with around 300 players expected. Additionally, the weekend includes tournaments, hobby events, pick-up games, Grand Narratives, and the streamed Iron Gauntlet Finals.
Black Friday starts November 25 with two major miniature bundles. One combines Brinebloods and Khymaera Command Starters with a free core rulebook. Meanwhile, the featured Kithguard bundle includes Core and Auxiliary Expansions plus a free Battlegroup Box. That creates more than 100 points of ambushing trollkin goodness in one package. Three discounted Strangelight Workshop RPG bundles are also planned.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this Warmachine preview points toward a packed weekend and an unusually strong holiday push. Moreover, the Kithguard deal looks especially substantial for players wanting a full army quickly.
