The Polish 7TP starter gives new Flames of War players a surprisingly flexible route into Early War.
Better still, the box mixes tanks, infantry, artillery, and reconnaissance without demanding a huge first purchase. However, the real value appears once you start building around those included units. Battlefront presents four 100-point options, with each pushing the same starter toward a different battlefield role. This is a summary of a community post found here.
Four Ways to Expand the Polish 7TP Starter

The obvious starting point is a full 7TP JW Tank Company built around sixteen tanks. Armoured cars provide Spearhead, while artillery pins defenders before the tanks push toward objectives. Meanwhile, infantry and anti-tank guns can screen the advance or defend home objectives. Softskin transports also help reposition artillery when the battle shifts.

At roughly $274, this is easily the cheapest expansion route.

The second option pairs the starter with the Polish Armoured Train. Here, the tank formation stays lean while the train brings an impressive five artillery templates. Because the entire train enters reserves as one unit, it can arrive later with considerable firepower. Tanks handle mobile threats, while the train and its infantry can anchor objectives.

That build costs around $325.

A third route adds a wz.34 Armoured Car Company as a second formation. Consequently, the army becomes harder to break and gains considerably more mobility. Tanks and armoured cars attack together, while infantry and artillery hold ground behind them. Additionally, the SZYBCIES! card improves Blitz reliability for 7TP units, helping squeeze extra movement from the armour.

This version costs roughly $318.

Finally, the Motorised Cavalry Squadron offers the most balanced combined-arms approach. Six formation units provide resilience, while Fearless Veteran Careful infantry should prove extremely stubborn. Two artillery batteries support attacks and layered defence, while 75mm guns benefit nicely from Quickfire. The Jan Wojcik card also redeploys one infantry or gun unit after deployment. That small trick can correct a bad matchup before turn one even begins. Armoured cars still provide Spearhead, while tanks become the mobile counterattack force.

At about $330, it remains reasonably economical for a complete 100-point army.
Final Thoughts
Overall, the Polish 7TP starter succeeds because nearly everything in the box remains useful across several army styles. Tank players can maximize aggression, while train fans gain artillery saturation and a fantastic centerpiece. Meanwhile, Motorised Cavalry offers arguably the broadest tactical toolbox. For a new Polish commander, this looks like a practical and flexible Early War starting point.
