Goliath and Escher Get New Fighters, Books, Cards, and Dice
Necromunda’s new edition is already out, and the next wave gives Goliath and Escher players plenty to chew on. House Goliath gets the brute-force treatment first, with Forge Smelters bringing eight new gangers loaded with specialist skills.
Meanwhile, Forge Bosses and Sumpkrocs expand the muscle side with six champions and two “tame” Sumpkrocs, which sounds like underhive health and safety having a breakdown.
Better yet, Underhive Journal: Goliath, The House of Chains adds variant rules, expanded lore, and deeper gene-smithing mechanics across a 48-page paperback. That matters because Goliath gangs are at their best when they feel like vat-grown slabs of angry custom violence. Also, reference cards keep Gang Tactics, Territories, Fighters, and other tools easy to track, while themed dice add two Injury Dice, three D6s, one Scatter Dice, and two Firepower Dice.
House Escher gets a matching wave, including the Blades of the Matriarch specialists from the Skirmish Core Set, plus six Matriarchs and two phyrr cats.
The Escher journal, The House of Blades, adds Wyld Hunt gangs, Chymist Cults, expanded chem-alchemy, and more background.
Therefore, Escher players get both stylish killers and more weird science. Their reference cards and translucent yellow dice with purple pips round out the release nicely.
White Dwarf, Black Library, and Warhammer TV Add the Wider Hobby Flavor
White Dwarf issue 528 brings the Ogor Mawtribes stampeding in with a battle report against the Ossiarch Bonereapers, which is funny because bones are deeply unsatisfying cuisine. Also, Paint Splatter walks through painting ogors from start to finish. Elsewhere, the issue includes a hobby guide for customising Cogforts, background lore for Snikrot’s Red Skull Kommandos, and rules for using the Gorkanaut and Morkanaut in Titanic Duel. Black Library then pushes several releases.
