The British Italy pack looks packed with table flavor. However, this is not just generic support cards.
Instead, it gives British and Commonwealth forces real campaign texture. For Flames of War players, that means sharper lists and better storytelling. This is a summary of a community post found here.
British Italy Cards Add Recon, Transport, and Warrior Tricks

The Liberation of Italy British Command Card pack includes familiar staples like Softskin Transport and Lucky. However, the real meat comes from Warriors, unit upgrades, formation builds, and nationality-flavored options. Gurkhas appear as one of the featured build cards, while Commonwealth armoured car options expand beyond Daimlers and Staghounds.

Also, some of those armoured car cards can become the core of unique Recon formations. The Italy Armoured Recce Troop card modifies a Stuart Recce Patrol by adding two Shermans and two Stuart Jalopies for 12 points.

Meanwhile, Jalopies replace Stuarts with turretless machine-gun platforms, giving the unit a scrappy Italy campaign feel.

The AVRE Assault Bridge card costs 1 point and lets the unit place a bridge after movement. That is niche, but potentially huge when terrain decides a game.

C15TA Armoured Truck Transport upgrades Canadian Italy Motor Company units for 1 point, making their transports harder to kill.

Sherman Kangaroo transports are even meatier, giving Rifle units FA6 carriers with machine guns for 4 points.

Improvised Artillery is another flexible tool, turning Shermans or M10s into concealed immobile artillery. However, once you discard the card to move again, that artillery role is gone.

The pack also leans into national identity. Several cards improve Italy Rifle Company motivation from Confident 4+ to Fearless 3+. Also, some add movement through cliffs or mountains, while others force enemy units to reroll Counterattack in assaults.

Maiella Partisans add an Italian Fearless Aggressive Green infantry unit that avoids reserve limits and crosses rough mountain terrain. The Warrior spread is huge, with fourteen total.

Sandy Thomas helps reserves and redeploys one formation unit after enemy deployment.

George Ponsford improves 6pdr Cross ratings, which is great for awkward terrain.

Wojtek the Soldier Bear boosts a 25pdr bombardment by making it count twice as large.

Anthony Maurice Everist makes Sherman movement through difficult ground far more aggressive.

Henry William Northcroft improves minefield crossing and Blitz orders.

John Henry Cound Brunt turns a Formation Commander into a toolbox with Sten, Bren, PIAT, and Rally support.

Finally, David Walter Blois makes artillery more reliable by using his 3+ Skill when ranging in.
Summary and Final Thoughts
Overall, this pack looks excellent for players who like decisions more than simple stat bumps. It adds mobility, survivability, artillery tricks, and proper Italy flavor.
