Early-war Polish players are getting a very welcome armored boost this September.
The all-plastic 7TP Tank Platoon should make Polish forces easier to build. However, it also adds a genuinely characterful vehicle to the table. For historical gamers, this is exactly the kind of release that brings a smaller nation to life.
Poland’s Improved Vickers Design Gets Plastic Support
The 7TP came from Polish experience with the British Vickers E tank, but it was not just a copy. Instead, Poland bought the license and developed a better local version. The upgrades included a more reliable diesel engine, thicker armor, improved ventilation, and a tank periscope. Also, the main single-turret version carried a 37mm anti-tank gun and radio. The dual-turret 7TP DW mounted two Ckm wz.30 machine guns, but testing pushed Poland toward the single-turret design.
