If you think your miniatures are big, wait until you meet an Imperial Knight in the flesh.
JOYTOY’s House Terryn Imperial Knight Paladin is so massive it could be mistaken for a small child roaming the streets. We decided it needed a proper tour of Warhammer World, letting our oversized plastic lord explore the iconic displays, dioramas, and statues that make this place a mecca for fans. Along the way, we got rained on, ogled thousands of meticulously crafted models, and even indulged in a spot of pretend lunch. It was the perfect blend of scale, spectacle, and silliness.
Touring the Iconic Statues and Dioramas
Our adventure kicked off at Warhammer World’s legendary entrance, where the original Space Marine statue still stands guard. From there, Malleo Civitatis—our aptly named Knight—marched further inside, passing by the towering Titus statue and a humble cabinet packed with Warhammer Community projects. Even if it could not appreciate them fully, its presence was enough to make us grin.
With over 20,000 miniatures spread across 25 major dioramas and countless smaller displays, Malleo found plenty to examine, from tiny versions of itself to elaborate battle scenes. Rain may have tried to ruin the fun, but it only added an epic sense of scale—those raindrops felt like cows to our Knight.
Pretend Lunch and Gaming Adventures
Of course, no trip to Warhammer World is complete without a pit stop, so Malleo enjoyed a “working lunch” at Bugman’s. Being plastic, it could not actually eat, but lugging it around builds an appetite for the humans in tow. After refueling, we hit the main hall for some gaming action. The Knight joined a game of Legions Imperialis, striding across a cityscape board like a full-size Titan crushing buildings. Chainsaws for hands made painting tricky, but Malleo gave it a shot anyway, leaving a few traces of Leadbelcher in its wake and earning us a temporary ban from the hobby desk. It was chaos, fun, and pure Warhammer joy all rolled into one.
The Gift Shop and Giveaway
Every good visit ends with a gift shop stop, and Malleo lingered over the Knight Porphyrion display with longing. Sadly, no tithe or diplomatic pact could secure merchandise, so we had to move on. However, this adventure comes with a real opportunity: you can win your own JOYTOY Imperial Knight by entering the Warhammer newsletter competition. Sign up with a MyWarhammer account, or use email reminders if you’re already subscribed, and you could walk away with a colossal companion who defies shelf space.
Plus, all participants receive a special code for the Warhammer Merch store as a thank you. The competition runs until the end of September, giving fans ample time to enter and take a piece of the adventure home.
Final Thoughts
Malleo Civitatis’s tour proves that nothing beats seeing Warhammer in scale, whether through massive models, epic dioramas, or chaotic gaming moments. From soaking in the displays to destroying miniature cityscapes, our Knight adventure was a riot of humor and fandom. If you love Imperial Knights, Warhammer World, or just the thrill of making your plastic models come alive, entering this competition is an absolute must. One way or another, Malleo’s legacy is clear: bigger is always better.
