Miniatures Breakdown
Legionaries in MkII Power Armour
The backbone of the box is a full 40 Legionaries clad in newly tooled MkII Crusade armour – a long-requested classic design brought to life in plastic. They come with all the bolters needed to form Tactical Squads, but also include 36 disintegrator weapons – perfect for building deadly Veteran Squads aligned to the Emperor or Horus. Sergeant, vexilla, and nuncio-vox bits are included to round out your squads.
Legion Centurion
Fresh from the stunning Saturnine trailer, this Centurion wears ornate MkII armour and is armed with a power maul, combi-melta, and a loyal cyber-familiar. An elite warrior to lead your force into the thickest fighting.
Saturnine Terminators
Six burly Terminators clad in experimental Saturnine plate form the spearhead of your elite troops. These warriors can be equipped with plasma bombards, heavy disintegrators, and disruption fists, with variant heads and loads of options. Classic fans will love their ‘80s-inspired look.
Praetor in Saturnine Armour
A hulking command option clad in even heavier Saturnine plate, this model is one of the most customisable in the box. He can be built with either a concussion hammer or war axe, with extra head, chest, and weapon details to personalise your warlord.
Saturnine Dreadnought
Bigger than a Leviathan and scarier by far, this elite Dreadnought is built from the same technology as the Saturnine Terminators. It can carry a disintegrator cannon, heavy plasma bombard, or photonic incinerator, and is protected by powerful diffraction fields. A centrepiece in every sense.
Araknae Quad Accelerator Platform
This stationary weapon platform brings the firepower of a Sicaran tank to a fortified emplacement. Armed with accelerator autocannons and protected by an atomantic pavisse, it’s a key battlefield control piece.
352-Page Rulebook
This isn’t just a rulebook – it’s a deep dive into the setting. The first half is pure lore: nearly 150 pages covering the battles, factions, and origins of the Horus Heresy. The second half contains full rules, mission packs, unit organisation, army construction, and more. It’s a complete guide to waging war in the 31st Millennium.
Game Aids and Extras
No need to hunt for extras – Saturnine includes everything:
- 21 dice (20 regular, 1 scatter)
- 3 weapon templates (blast and flamer)
- 4 reference sheets
- 40 plastic status/objective tokens
- A measuring stick
- An introductory guide to get you playing right away
- 1,172-transfer decal sheet with legion symbols, kill markings, and more
What’s Next?
This is just the beginning. In the coming weeks, Games Workshop will dive deeper into:
- Updated rules and mechanics
- Tactics and lore for each new unit
- Painting guides and showcases
- Narrative hooks and campaign options
