Warhammer Day is bringing some major hype this year, with loads of reveals and offers that are sure to get fans buzzing before the big preview show tomorrow. From Space Marine 2 fever to fresh collectibles, games, and merch, the celebration is in full swing across all things Warhammer.
Collectibles: Wētā Workshop and McFarlane Toys Are Bringing the Heat
Wētā Workshop, known for their jaw-dropping Warhammer sculpts, is dropping a new series of 1:6 scale Space Marine helmets, starting with Ultramarines, Dark Angels, and World Eaters. These are already up for pre-order and, if their previous works are anything to go by, these helmets are going to be killer additions to any Warhammer collection.
And then we’ve got McFarlane Toys jumping in with two new Space Marine 2 figures. Lieutenant Titus, who’s becoming the poster boy for Space Marine 2, comes in both pre-coloured and grey Artist’s Proof editions, so you can either display him straight out of the box or go wild with your own custom paint job. Alongside him is a menacing Astra Militarum Commissar, also available in both versions. These are must-haves for action figure enthusiasts.
Music and Art: Laced Records and Focus Entertainment
Laced Records is releasing a Limited Edition Space Marine 2 soundtrack on vinyl, complete with epic artwork from the game. And for those more into digital, Focus Entertainment has put out the game’s score and an Art and Making of Space Marine 2 book on Steam. It’s perfect for those of us who can’t get enough of the music that drives the battlefield madness or the stunning visuals that bring the grimdark universe to life.
Warhammer 40,000: The Ultimate Guide
For lore lovers and new fans alike, DK Books has released Warhammer 40,000: The Ultimate Guide in the UK, with a worldwide release coming soon. Written by Black Library heavyweights Guy Haley and Gav Thorpe, this massive encyclopedia dives deep into the lore and miniatures of the 40k universe, packed with beautiful artwork and photography. This is basically the grimmest, most intense coffee table book you could ever own.
Big Deals for Warhammer Day
If you’re a gamer or collector, now’s the time to snag some great deals. There are huge sales across multiple platforms, including Steam, GOG, and Humble, running through October. Whether you’re looking to dive into some classic Warhammer games or pick up something new, like the Dawn of War Anniversary Editions (celebrating 20 years of DoW and 15 years of DoW 2), there’s no shortage of bargains.
And don’t forget the Warpforge mobile card game, which just launched its full version and added the Astra Militarum faction. Players can snag 10 free booster packs with the code “WARPFORGE,” but it’s only good until October 31st, so don’t sleep on that.
Merch and More
The merch train doesn’t stop there! Displate is dropping a new collection of metal wall art with classic Warhammer imagery, and there’s a sweet 30% discount until October 6th. Cubicle 7 is knocking off 25% on Warhammer roleplay starter sets and core books, while Warhammer Merch has discounts on tees, hoodies, and some slick new snapback caps.
Even Warhammer Art is getting in on the action with a 10% discount site-wide. So whether you’re looking to grab some wall art, load up on roleplay materials, or upgrade your wardrobe with Warhammer gear, there’s plenty of incentive to jump in.
