The Three Named Inquisitors in the New Book

Alright, fellow Warhammer 40K fans, buckle up because the Codex: Imperial Agents is about to drop, and it’s bringing some serious Inquisition power to the tabletop. If you’ve ever wanted to field the most fearsome agents of the Imperium, this codex is your ticket to doing just that, with some of the most notorious Inquisitors leading the charge.

The Inquisition: Fear and Power in Equal Measure

The Inquisition is one of the most terrifying organizations in the Imperium. These guys don’t mess around – their very presence can bring rebellious governors to heel. The Inquisition started as a quiet way to keep the Imperium in check, but now it’s a sprawling, complex web of agents with their own agendas. Despite their different methods, they all share one goal: protect the Imperium at any cost.

But here’s the kicker – no two Inquisitors are the same. They’re divided into distinct organizations known as Ordos, with the three main ones being Ordo Xenos, Ordo Hereticus, and Ordo Malleus. Each of these Ordos specializes in hunting down specific threats, from alien menaces to daemonic horrors.

Ordo Xenos – The Alien Hunters

The Ordo Xenos focuses on dealing with alien threats, and they’re not afraid to get their hands dirty. In the new codex, they’re represented by Kyria Draxus, a radical Inquisitor who’s made it her mission to hunt down the Necrons. And she’s not your typical Inquisitor – she’s even been known to team up with the Aeldari when it suits her goals. But don’t be fooled, she’s all about putting Humanity first, and she’s got her sights set on dismantling the Necron pylons in the Pariah Nexus.

Draxus is a mysterious figure who disappeared for a while, only to reappear with news of the Silent King’s return. Now, she’s back in action with a renewed purpose, ready to take the fight to the Necrons.

Ordo Hereticus – The Witch Hunters

If you’re a heretic, mutant, or rogue psyker, the Ordo Hereticus is your worst nightmare. These guys exist to purge corruption from Humanity’s heart, and they’re not known for mercy. Leading the charge is Katarinya Greyfax, a no-nonsense enforcer with a particular hatred for psykers. She’s got a Psyoculum that lets her single out psykers with deadly accuracy, and her condemnor boltgun ensures they don’t get back up.

Greyfax’s backstory is wild – she was trapped in a Tesseract Vault for centuries by the Necron overlord Trazyn the Infinite, only to be released during the Fall of Cadia to fight against Abaddon’s forces. She’s a force to be reckoned with and has even tempered her disdain for the Living Saint Celestine after witnessing the resurrection of Roboute Guilliman.

Ordo Malleus – The Daemonhunters

Finally, we have the Ordo Malleus, the daemonhunters who protect the Imperium from the foul influences of the Warp. These Inquisitors have to be tough as nails, and none are tougher than Torquemada Coteaz. This guy is a puritanical taskmaster who spends his days sifting through reports and running his spy network like a well-oiled machine.

On the battlefield, Coteaz is a nightmare for daemons. He blasts them with psychic powers blessed by the Emperor himself and protects his allies from the tricks of the Warp with his Malefic Wards. And if that wasn’t enough, he’s armed with a massive nemesis daemon hammer that crushes skulls with brutal efficiency.
