YEE-HAW LSO 2024 TICKETS ARE LIVE!!!

The Lone Star Open is tabletop wargaming at its finest! Come battle it out with the best of the best at this Texas-sized event and see if you are worth your salt!

This main tournaments  will all take place on  Saturday July 20th and Sunday  July 21st.

While all Frontline Gaming Events are special, the LSO in particular is especially special as the event is dedicated to our community members who are (or have been) part  of The US Armed Forces. Special perks will be offered to both currently serving and formally serving military personnel. One of these perks is access to a limited room block purely for military personnel with a rate even lower than our already discounted room block!!!! Several of the tournaments will also be formatted to highlight any military personnel playing them.  For example,  the 40K Champs event will have  members representing each of the military branches, who will be competing  to settle just which of the US Military branches is the best, and earn the honor of being Frontline Gaming’s Branch Champ! More details on this unique twist to this 40K Championship event to come. 

 The Lone Star Open,  is held in the Marriott Dallas Allen Hotel & the attached Watters Creek Convention Center (777 Watters Creek Blvd, Allen, TX 75013), just North of Dallas Texas, and across the street from over 50 restaurants, bars, and shops right outside the front door at Watters Creek, a resort-style mixed-use development. IMPORTANT for 40K Champs Players: if you choose to represent a military branch, then make sure to reach out to your branch leader above and notify them so you will be set up in our system during the event. You must have personally served in this branch or currently do serve in this branch and may be asked for credentials. If you are found misrepresenting a branch that you have not served with previously or do not currently serve, then you may be removed from the competition and you will not be refunded for your ticket.

NEW FOR LSO 2024- Saturday Night Social!

On Saturday night, after we are all done rolling dice, there will be a social hosted by the US ARMY Esports team. This will be open to all regardless of if you are Army or not and players from all game systems are invited to join in! This will be a fun way to swap stories from the day over a drink with your buddies. We hope to see everyone as this social as we take over a restaurant!!!! Details regarding the venue and the specific time of the social, will be provided closer to the event’s launch.

Regional Information:

The LSO is is roughly 30 minutes from DFW Airport and 35 minutes from Love Field Airport.

The hotel, and recently upgraded full-scale Marriott is clean and has a great restaurant and bar on site as well as a pool and patio. 

The convention center, attached to the hotel, is a single massive room and will have a full service bar and food stand open during the event.

Literally, across the street from the convention center is Watters Creek, which  includes a large village green, public art, retail options, restaurants,  water views, and plenty of options for you to hand out with your friends after a day of wargaming.

Refund Policy

• All tickets are digital. You will not receive physical tickets. For the LSO (Lone Star Open) 2024 event (for which registration will open in April, 2024), all purchases are refundable until June 19, 2024, after which no tickets will be refunded. There are no exceptions to this policy unless specified otherwise in an event ticket description. Tickets may be transferred to another party up until July 12, 2024.
• In the instance the event is canceled due to an act of God, force majeure or forces outside of our control such as severe weather conditions, customers may donate their ticket revenue to the event to help offset the significant financial burden the event faces in the event of a cancellation (with our sincere gratitude), ask for a refund which will be issued even if the cancellation occurs after June 19th, 2024,  apply their ticket value as credit for the LSO 2025, or to use as credit in the Frontline Gaming web-cart.
• In the instance the event is forced to cancel, refunds may take up to 90 days to process.
• All ticket refunds are subject to a 15% service fee.
• All items included with the Premium Ticket and as well as preordered must be picked up during the event by 8AM on Sunday. Items will not be shipped. Items not claimed by 8AM on Sunday will be resold to anyone interested and the original purchase will not be refunded. 
• Frontline Gaming reserves the right to refuse business at our sole discretion. 
• Media Release: This Frontline Gaming  as are all  Frontline Gaming events, is filled with many memorable memories. We try to preserve the event by taking photos/videos/livestream of you while playing your game or conversing with friends.  By attending this Frontline Gaming event you agree to have your photograph taken by one of our staff members (or a Frontline Gaming pre-approved 3rd party) and to be shared on our various media platforms.  At any time before or during the event, if you wish to have your photo not taken, please send an email to Events@frontlinegaming.org Please note that  during the final round of the 40K Champs event, the top table may be streamed.
