Victrix Shows Off 2024 Roadmap

Victrix Limited, purveyor of top quality plastic, historical miniatures, has shown off their 2024 roadmap. Let’s check it out!

Victrix has made a concerted effort in the last couple years to really up the quality and scope of their plastic sets. Their 28mm Dark Ages minis and 12mm WW2 are as good as any on the market, and it looks there are more to come!

These Rus minis (both armored and unarmored) are due to be finished sculpting in early January, when the full range of options will be revealed. Heads, arms and weapons are all interchangeable and can be mixed with Victrix’s Viking minis to make Varangians or just to add some variety to your force. The Early Saxons pictured above are in the tooling process and should b released by the end of Q1 2024.

These medieval knights look to be arriving just in time for The Old World, or to face off against the Islamic Infantry pictured beside them, and the Islamic Heavy Cavalry that Victrix is currently sculpting alongside them. Both sets will come with a large number of head and weapon options for maximum variety.

12mm WW2 is getting some love in 2024 as well, with US Airborne rounding out Victrix’s late war offerings. A Universal carrier is on the way as well, and from the looks of the pictured sprue, it will come with a large variety of options, including seated crew and troops, occupants firing a variety of weapons, and a fun number of mounted weapons, including HMGs and a mortar!

Last but not least there are two released planned for the classical and ancient periods. The Roman Bolt Shooter is just about ready for release in January and will come with a wide variety of crew options. The Greek Hoplites are a surprise based on the popularity of a recent release of additional heads for an existing Hoplite set. These hoplites are more dynamically posed and come with muscled and scaled cuirass options, for that extra heroic look.

And there you have it for now. Are you going to pick up a pack of Victrix minis in 2024? Which ones? Let us know in the comments!
