The newest Unit Expansion for Star Wars: Legion, Ewok Warriors, is shown off in spectacular detail. Let’s check it out!
The suicidally brave, incorrigibly curious, surprisingly cuddly Ewoks have had their stats revealed by Atomic Mass Games! The warriors of Bright Tree Village come in two flavors, Skirmishers and Slingers.
Ewok Skirmishers are melee troops, armed with spears (and sometimes rocks), they roll a single black die in combat and have no ranged attack. They are sneaky little bugbears, though, and so they have the Low Profile to give them extra survivability when in cover, and Unhindered to let them move through dense terrain easily.
Ewok Slingers are meant to operate more independently than their skirmishing relations. They have Independent: Surge 1, giving them a surge token when they do not receive an order token. If they are ordered, however, they receive an aim token from Target 1 and crits are changed to hits thanks to their Primitive weapons. They are just as as nimble and hard to hit as their spear-armed brethren as well!
Ewok Skirmishers and Slingers can take either an Axe Ewok or an Ewok Trapper as personnel upgrades. The Axe Ewok uses a red die in melee combat and has Pierce 1 and Impact 1. The Ewok Trapper gives an additional training slot to the unit. For upgrades, Skirmishers and Slingers can take Insatiable Curiosity, which allows the unit, when in base contact with an enemy unit, to force them to discard a non-unique Gear, Armament or Heavy Weapon and take a wound in return. Call to Arms gives the unit a suppression token and Charge, Forest Dwellers gives the unit Scout 1 and a dodge token at the start of the first activation phase.
And there you have it, the Warriors of Bright Tree Village, ready to take to the battlefield! Let us know in the comments if you are excited to field an force full of furry furies in your next game of Star Wars: Legion!
