We continue on in our preview series with a ton of reveals for Age of Sigmar. It’s going to be a busy year for the fantasy realm and these previews are amazing!
Cities of Sigmar
While this preview wasn’t explosive, we did get our first glimpse of the new Cities of Sigmar troops. It looks like GW is trying to capture some of the grittiness of the Old World while bridging the gap to the more fantastical realm of AoS. I like the look and I am curious to see what future models will look like.
Death Previews
Next up we got the announcement of the next two battle tomes with the Soulblight Gravelords and the Ossiarch Bonerepaers taking center stage. Both armies are getting new heroes and I really love the new vampire model. I think it might be another orphaned Cursed City mini. regardless, I love bat models and it looks like they might be adding a hero who synergizes with those little gribblies.
Seraphon
The biggest AoS belles of the ball last night were the Seraphon. The range refresh continues with an array of beautiful models. Gone are the old Cold One models, in their place arrive the Aggradon lancers!
These models look jaw dropping and I am trying really hard not to start a Seraphon army over here. These kits are just so cool and balance detail with fluidity in an amazing fashion. The lancers aren’t the only new kit though, check out the new Kroxigors:
This unit is now part of a dual kit between regular Kroxigors and their Kroxigor Warspawned kin. Both units look great and I think you will have a hard time fitting all these amazing models into one army. We also got to see the new box set releasing in the summer, so start saving up now!
