With the store returning to normal after LVO it’s time to crack on with our series prepping for the return of the Old World! Todya’s subjects were highlighted in a previous article, its: the Tomb Kings
Old Range
Like the Bretonnians the Tomb Kings have seen their entire range removed from sale. Sadly there aren’t any kits brought over to AoS so you are out of luck.
Current Options
There are many 3d printed options available, but if you want to go with GW you do have some choices. Firstly you could adapt many of the Ossiarch Bonereaper minis to fill out a force. Mortek Guard can make for passable Tomb Guards or Skeletons. You can also use Soulblight Skeletons for your rank and file. Necropolis Stalkers can stand in for Ushabati. Boneshapers or Soulreapers can make great Priests or Princes. Lastly the Mortek Crawler makes for a pretty good Screaming Skull catapult.
Other than that you are a little limited in your choices and will need to be creative. If you want to look for some older stuff, check out what the FLG Secondhand Store has in stock:
