You barely finish one Chaos invasion and another one kicks the door in. The Red Corsairs are only just spilling out of the Maelstrom, yet other traitors are already on the move.
So the Imperium gets hit from multiple angles, because of course it does. However, if you want siegecraft done properly, there is only one Legion that lives for it. Enter the Iron Warriors, and their latest hammer, Warsmith Kravek Morne.
Kravek Morne: A Siege Weapon in Cataphractii Plate
Perturabo is not known for warm leadership, and he rarely respects his commanders. Still, a few earn his trust through relentless wins, and Kravek is one of those killers. He is also not one of the ancient Terra grudge veterans, since he was forced into service only about 2,000 years before the Great Rift. Yet in just 500 years, his gift for brutal frontal assaults earned him the rank of Warsmith.
Those years of meat grinder warfare turned him into a living battering ram. He wears an old Cataphractii Terminator suit from the Horus Heresy, which he calls the Iron Mantle. It is packed with weaponised mechatendrils and augmetics linked to the armour’s impulse unit. And because a Warsmith needs a signature tool, he carries Last Argument, a personally crafted thunder hammer crackling with infernal power.
New Iron Warriors Upgrade Set: Heads, Pads, and Proper Tools
As Kravek pushes into Imperial space, the Legion marches behind him in that utilitarian Iron Warriors style. That look is coming to hobby tables soon via a new upgrade set. It includes heads, shoulder pads, and accessories designed to fit Legionaries, Terminators, and Chosen.
It also packs a very tasty thunder hammer and a power fist for your Aspiring Champions. You will still paint the hazard stripes yourself, yet that is half the joy.
Summary
This reveal is doing two jobs at once. It introduces Kravek Morne as a brutal Iron Warriors spearhead, and it teases a major campaign aimed straight at the Imperium. However, it also gives hobbyists the practical bits to build a proper IV Legion force right now. We do not get details on the campaign yet, but it is clearly being framed as a big one. Until then, you know the chant. Iron within, iron without.
