The Lumineth are back, and they are acting like the Lumineth. So, you get a heroic commander, a shiny new battletome, and a pile of boxed sets.
Also, the whole pitch is about reclaiming ground after the Hour of Ruin. Therefore, their magic and their warhosts both get a clear focus. And yes, it is still maximum elegance with maximum arrogance.
Vanari Lord Regent Brings Tyrion Approved Leadership
Vanari Lord Regents are the kind of commanders Tyrion trusts. Therefore, they show up as battlefield anchors, not just duellists. Like all Lumineth, they use aetherquartz to crank their reflexes to absurd speed. So, you are getting that classic “blink and you missed it” swordplay vibe.
They also rally allies back into the fight when things look grim. Meanwhile, they help Auralan Wardens form an unbreakable wall of blades. So, your line infantry gets guided into that perfect spear wall moment. For hobby options, you can go full parade mode with helmet in hand and a back banner. Alternatively, you can build a more serious pose with helmet on and shield planted.
Battletome Adds Battlefield Runes, Renown Options, and Hero Building
Battletome: Lumineth Realm-lords leans into their self image hard. It also promises lore, art, and a lot of premium miniature photography. The big gameplay hook is new battlefield runes. At the start of each battle round, you inscribe a rune for an effect. Then, those runes can resonate with earlier ones to change and boost the effects.
This is a very Lumineth solution to a messy war. You are literally writing reality into order. There are also two Armies of Renown, including a Vanari force doing great labours for the Lord Phoenix’s blessing. In addition, you get two Regiments of Renown and a new Spearhead. You can also build a custom hero with new Anvil of Apotheosis rules. Finally, Path to Glory gets two new paths, and there will be a gamer’s edition, dice, and warscroll cards.
Battleforce, Spearhead, and Regiment Bundles to Build the Army Fast
The Iliathan Warhost battleforce is positioned as a strong starter or reinforcement box. It also helps bulk up Hurakan and Alarith forces with classic Vanari muscle. You get Ellania and Ellathor, five Vanari Bladelords, 10 Sentinels, 10 Wardens, a Starshard Ballista, and 10 Ydrilan Riverblades. So, it mixes a steady core with a sneaky forward element.
Spearhead: Hurakan Vanguard goes full speed. A Hurakan Windmage leads, backed by five Windchargers and a Spirit of the Wind. Therefore, it is built to intercept threats and play the flanks hard. Meanwhile, you still get 10 Wardens to sit on objectives.
Regiments of Renown: Sigil Convocation is for magic nerds. It features a Scinari Calligrave plus manifestations like the Sanctum of Amyntok, Hyshian Twinstones, and a Rune of Petrification. The idea is that they can summon and cycle these smoothly. Also, they can dismiss enemy spells with practiced flair, because of course they can.
Summary
This update gives the Lumineth a clear “order and cleanse” play pattern after the Hour of Ruin, led by the Vanari Lord Regent who mixes aetherquartz speed, rallying leadership, and spear wall discipline. The new battletome adds a rune inscription system that builds power across battle rounds through resonance, while also bringing Armies of Renown, Regiments of Renown, a new Spearhead, and deeper narrative tools like Anvil of Apotheosis and fresh Path to Glory routes, plus the usual gamer kit extras.
On the box side, the Iliathan Warhost stacks named heroes with Vanari staples and Riverblades for a balanced force, the Hurakan Vanguard Spearhead doubles down on fast interception with a solid Warden objective core, and the Sigil Convocation Regiment leans into manifestation play and spell denial for Order allies. And while Tzeentch fans are clearly eating well too, Lumineth players now have the tools to answer back with disciplined steel and very smug rune magic, while the teaser also nods toward Ossiarch reinforcements for anyone craving darker flavours.
