Ultramar is getting dragged into a full scale nightmare, and Titus is right in the middle of it.
So, he has been told to reclaim the 500 Worlds, which is already a massive ask. However, a new Necron presence is rising, and it sounds like the worst kind. Additionally, this is the start of a big narrative push, not just a model drop. Therefore, you get new miniatures, a campaign expansion, terrain, and even hobby bits that all feed the same storyline.
Titus and the Wardens of Ultramar: A Fleet of Allies in One Character Set
Titus is back in his familiar role, Captain of the Ultramarines 2nd Company again. So, after surviving a pile of brutal challenges, he gets rewarded with even more war. Additionally, the article leans into his personality. He is happiest in the middle of a bloodbath, which tracks.
The set is not just Titus either. He comes with a whole council of helpers and comrades. You get Veteran Sergeant Metaurus and Ancient Gadriel as the obvious battlefield core. Additionally, you get Lucia Vestha, a plenipotentiary of Ultramar, which screams politics and logistics. You also get Astropath Dainal Kornelius, plus Gaius Silva, a veteran commodore of the Ultramar Defence Fleet. Finally, you get Aemelia Minervas, a Legatus in the Ultramar Defence Auxilia and commander of the 30th Macragge Defence Auxilia attached to Titus’ fleet. So, it is a full “war cabinet” on sprues. There are also two head options for Kornelius and Metaurus, which is a nice little customization win.
The Necron Threat: Nekrosor Ammentar and an Updated Nightbringer
Nekrosor Ammentar is introduced as something even Necrons fear. So, it is not just a scary enemy for humans, it is a problem for its own kind. The article calls it a locus for murderous psychosis that whips Necrons into a frenzy. Over centuries, its body has been tailored for killing organic life. Additionally, Crypteks have outfitted it with bladed limbs, a serpentine tail, and enmitic projectors that let it tunnel through battlefields. It also carries an unmaker gauntlet, which sounds like a very final kind of weapon.
Despite all that body horror, it is still intelligent. So, it is not a dumb monster. Additionally, it has gathered a huge following. Many of them are infected with the Destroyer curse, while others ally with it for their own reasons. Its motives are unknown, which is always a bad sign. It is now invading Ultramar, and the miniature will get a datasheet through Warhammer Community.
Then the article pivots to another classic terror. The C’tan Shard of the Nightbringer shows up with updated rules coming on Warhammer Community too. It is described as a fragment of an ancient god once able to unmake stars. The Necrons shattered and enslaved it, and now dynasties unleash shards when they want an enemy humbled through obliteration. The model is a shifting necrodermis death figure with a scythe. Additionally, it can carve down lesser foes in sweeps. It also has a life draining gaze that does D6+3 damage, which is a spicy number in any era.
500 Worlds: Titus Narrative Expansion: Slipcase Books, Boarding Actions, and a Map Campaign
Roboute Guilliman orders Titus to reclaim the Five Hundred Worlds. So, the storyline is framed as immense and possibly impossible. However, the article keeps the tone confident. Titus is the guy you send when you want the mission done, even if it is miserable.
500 Worlds: Titus – The Battle for Unity Begins is a narrative expansion for Warhammer 40,000. It covers the opening moves of the war for Ultramar, focusing on the Vespator Front and Titus’ story. The physical product is a slipcase with three softback books plus a booklet of background and rules. So, it is a whole mini campaign library.
The main 500 Worlds: Titus book is 80 pages of lore. It covers the start of the Ultramarian Reclamation. Additionally, it details the characters and detachments involved. It also digs into Nekrosor’s murder maddened Necron legion and the war for Novamagnor.
Then there is 500 Worlds: Titus – Dread Incursions, which is all about Boarding Actions. It reprints the core Boarding Actions rules, which is helpful. Additionally, it adds 12 new missions, split into six for standard terrain and six for Tomb World terrain. It also brings extra rules adaptations and two new detachments. Space Marines get Shield of the Void, and Necrons get Harbinger Cabal. It also includes four Dread Incursion campaigns. Those cover voidship fighting, Necron tomb complex battles, ship to ship clashes, and fights in ruined space hulks and forgotten tombs. So, it is basically “close quarters misery” in four different flavors.
Next is 500 Worlds: Titus – War on the Vespator Front, a 56 page book that runs a map campaign for two or more players. It provides the framework, details theaters of war, and includes six new missions with thematic rules. Additionally, it comes with a fold out campaign map and a sticker sheet with 252 stickers. So, it is very “tabletop campaign night,” and the stickers are there to make progress feel real.
Finally, there is a 16 page Detachments booklet. Space Marines get Orbital Assault Force, Bastion Task Force, and Reclamation Force. Necrons get Pantheon of Woe, Cursed Legion, and Cryptek Conclave. Additionally, these rules will also be on Warhammer Community and in the Warhammer 40,000 app. The expansion also has a luxury collector edition with gold foil slipcase treatment and matching book covers. Both versions are limited while stocks last. So, if you want it, you probably do not sit on it.
Extra Hobby Gear: Heads, Terrain, and Necron Destroyer Stuff
There is also a Space Marine Heads set for kitbashing and variety. It includes 15 helmeted heads of different ranks and marks, 30 bare heads, and two Terminator helmeted heads plus two Terminator bare heads. So, it is a nice way to make squads look less cloned.
For Boarding Actions, there is a Tomb World themed terrain set. It has two game boards and 50 Tomb World terrain pieces. That is double what the Killzone set contains, according to the article. Additionally, Dread Incursions has special rules for using this terrain. It is also limited while stocks last.
Necrons get a 500 Worlds Battalion box themed around the Destroyer Cult. It is built as a brutal core or an army add on. You get a Hexmark Destroyer, two Lokhust Heavy Destroyers, three Skorpekh Destroyers with a Plasmacyte, and three Ophydian Destroyers with a Plasmacyte. The box can also be used with the new Cursed Legion detachment, which empowers Destroyer weapons even further. Also limited while stocks last.
There is also a Destroyer Cult dice set. You get 16 dice in black gem effect plastic with light green ink. Additionally, the six face has the Mark of the Nekrosor icon. It is a perfect “theme your army” accessory, and it is also limited while stocks last.

The final tease is next week’s Warhammer Community plan. They will reveal two new Commemorative Series miniatures for 2026 store anniversaries. Additionally, they will dig into the lore of the 500 Worlds and the Necron threat. They will also show some rules.
