December is here and the Warhammer Christmas season is rolling. The Grotmas Calendar has started teasing daily goodies.
Now the Boxing Day miniatures for 2025 are confirmed. These releases hit that post Christmas window many hobbyists spend building fresh plastic. Additionally, they lean into collector appeal.
Two Fan Favourite Commemorative Models
This year brings back two Commemorative Series stars. Meanwhile, The Hunter Strikes returns for the T’au Empire, featuring a leaping Kroot Carnivore.
The Steel Rook also comes back for Cities of Sigmar, with its avian helmed Arch Knight look. Both were previously limited to events, so many players missed their first run. Consequently, they are heading to Warhammer stores from Friday the twenty sixth of December, while stocks last.

If you receive Warhammer vouchers at Christmas, these models are prime targets. They make ideal centrepiece heroes or focused painting projects. Additionally, if you cannot escape family events or bad weather, there is a second chance. From Saturday the tenth of January 2026, both miniatures will be available online while stocks last.
