A sequel to one of WA’s earliest fantasy sets is finally in the works! Let’s take a look.
Some three years ago Wargames Atlantic released a box of plastic Halfling Militia as their second set in their Classic Fantasy range. Since then they have built out the range with several digital-only sets, released through their My Mini Factory store. These include crossbowmen, villagers, armored pikemen, a hero, and a set of cavalry. Now the cavalry is being produced as a plastic set, presumably due to their popularity.
The cavalry heads and arms will be compatible with the militia, giving loads more modularity to both sets when bought in tandem. The new set will come with 16 heads and a large variety of arms carrying spears, javelins, short swords and even a couple jousting lances for hairfoots! There are four pony halves, two right and two left, each compatible with its two opposites, and three unique horse heads, making twelve possible combinations for maximum variety.
