Ah, you couldn’t resist, could you? You’re back, eager for another taste of fresh rules, and the Prince of Excess is delighted.
Today Lydia – suspiciously concealing crab claws and strumming her harp like a daemonic muse – leads us through the seductive new offerings for the Hedonites of Slaanesh in the Scourge of Ghyran season.
Battle Formations: Invaders and Pretenders
Two fresh formations promise delight and ruin in equal measure. The Invaders formation rewards those who boldly claim enemy territory, stealing it away in classic Slaaneshi style. On the other hand, the Pretenders center on a Hero so saturated with hedonistic perfection that their mere presence awes their followers. During deployment, these figures flex their influence, gaining an extra heroic trait from either the Figureheads of Slaanesh or the Hedonistic Obsessions table.
Hedonistic Obsessions: Tempting Table of Boons
This new table is a playground of indulgence and obsession. The Need for Perfection ensures that when a unit stumbles—failing a charge or flubbing a spell—they become Euphoric, sharpening their edge for the next attempt. Celebrity Warlord elevates your Hero into a magnetic figure, attracting eager mortal followers ready to bask in their fame.
Perhaps the most devious is Master of Temptation. Here, if your opponent refuses to use any Temptation Dice during their turn, you can punish their restraint by limiting one of their units to only Core abilities—stripping away fancy tactics like All-out Defence unless they give in and take the dice. It’s a perfectly Slaaneshi mind game, baiting your enemy into compromise.
Updated Warscrolls: Fiendbloods and Vengeful Allegiance

The Slaangor Fiendbloods are nastier than ever, lying in wait to ambush prey at the opportune moment. These towering, clawed goatmen in knee-high boots are no joke when they strike from the shadows, bringing terror wherever they emerge.
Then we have Syll’Esske: The Vengeful Allegiance, the twisted daemon duo whose presence bolsters both mortals and daemons. Positioned at the heart of your army, they ensure your lines strike first and strike hard. But there’s more: when Esske slays an enemy Wizard, he offers up trophies—trinkets, charms, or the grisly severed head—to Syll, who gains additional Wizard levels with each kill. This power-up makes casting the new Wandering Minds spell easier, a cruel enchantment that strips Ward saves from enemy units and gifts them to your daemonic followers
