New Hard Plastic Legion Sets Hit The Store

Three new sets for Star Wars: Legion in hard plastic have hit the online store. Let’s take a look!

Atomic Mass Games has been releasing units in hard plastic for quite some time, but some of the earliest legion releases were in a softer plastic that was slightly harder to customize. Now two of those earliest releases have been resculpted and re-released in hard plastic. A third box also brings another character into the prequel setting, though not without a little controversy. Let’s cover that one first

Commander and Padawan Ahsoka Tano

What could possibly be controversial about Ahsoka, you ask? Well, in a bizarre twist, Ahsoka Tano for GAR armies does not have an Operative option. She can function either as a Commander, or as a unit upgrade (padawan). Why is this bizarre? Well, you may recall that the version of her that was released for Rebel armies was an Operative, and GAR armies are somewhat lacking in Operative options. But still, more Ahsoka isn’t a bad thing!

This dual-character expansion offers versatile play styles and synergizes perfectly with existing Republic forces. Whether you’re reinforcing your 501st Legion or seeking new command options, Ahsoka brings tactical flexibility and lightsaber mastery to your army.

  • 2 Bases
  • 1 Unit Card
  • 3 Command Cards
  • 1 Upgrade Card
