Wot’s dis? Looks like da swamp’s been bubbling up some proper kunnin’ stuff for the Kruleboyz in the new General’s Handbook 2025-26!
And who better to lead da readin’ than Lewis da Swampcalla Shaman, keeper of secrets, stirrer of cauldrons, and loudest belcher in da Mire.
Two Sneaky New Formations
First up, we got Swamphorde Bullies – a formation that dishes out extra attacks when your ladz gang up on the same target. Some call dat “cowardly,” but we call it “tactical brutality.” More choppin’, more screamin’, more fun.
Next is Badmouthing Baiterz, perfect for the gobbiest grots and nastiest orruks. This formation leans into your Dirty Tricks – and makes ’em even trickier. With a few foul insults (and maybe a dead fish or two), you’ll provoke da enemy into charging straight into a swampy ambush. It’s funny and effective.
Monstrous Traits: Bigger, Badder, Slimier
Dis season, your monsters get access to new Scourge of Ghyran traits that come in three kunnin’ flavours:
- Meaner monsters get +1 Attack on one weapon – more claws, more gore.
- Sneakier monsters can bounce outta combat in your Hero phase without takin’ a scratch – perfect for redeployin’ behind enemy lines.
- Tougher monsters reduce enemy weapon Rend by 1 – makin’ ’em even harder to put down. Like bashin’ a barnacle with a sponge.
Swampy Scrolls: Skumdrekk & Killaboss Goin’ Wild
Two Kruleboyz heroes are gettin’ new warscrolls, and they’re drippin’ with nasty tricks.
Killaboss on Great Gnashtoof now has some of the most hilarious abilities in the game. This sneaky git can slink off da battlefield, pop up somewhere else, pounce on a hero, and drag ’em screamin’ into da swamp. It’s like hide-and-seek with teeth.
Meanwhile, Swampboss Skumdrekk gets even sneakier. Now, when his ladz mess up a Dirty Trick, he earns a “gambling chip” – and he can use those to rig future tricks in his favour. Sloppklaw, his boggy beast, also has a new tail-whip attack that sends enemies sprawling like knocked-over mushrooms.
Updated Command Abilities – Play Smarter, Not Louder
And for da generals out dere: the General’s Handbook is mixin’ up the meta.
- All-out Attack now still gives +1 to Hit, but you suffer -1 to Saves in return. Good if you’re lookin’ to finish a fight quick.
- All-out Defence now applies to one attack action, not an entire phase – so don’t waste it on some jabby spears when the real danger’s still to come.
