Every year, Warhammer Heroes gives us a chance to shine a spotlight on the incredible hobbyists who don’t just paint and play—they build communities, champion inclusion, and use Warhammer to make a real difference in the world.
Thanks to your votes, the 2024 roster is packed with inspiring legends who show why Warhammer is the greatest hobby on Earth.

This Year’s Warhammer Heroes
- Danny Bennett founded Guild of Gaming in Dumfries and Galloway, a nonprofit club using Warhammer to support young and neurodivergent hobbyists, inspiring the next generation of commanders and painters.
- Hannah Wilson revitalized the University of Derby’s Warhammer Society, championing inclusivity and nearly doubling its size, winning “Most Inclusive Society” honors along the way.
- Robert E. Allen III has spent 13 years fundraising for charities like Child’s Play and Extra Life, becoming a legendary figure in Maryland’s Warhammer community.
- Gustavo Darío Vásquez Durán & Ruth Margarita García López founded Orko Trotzko in La Paz, Bolivia, creating a 200-strong safe, welcoming hobby space for local fans.
- Aaron Moshier turned personal tragedy into triumph with Battle Against Breast Cancer, raising over $22,000 through a massive network of tournaments and raffles.
- Luke Stone founded Dadhammer, offering support and community for fathers balancing family life with their love of the hobby.
- Austin Featherstone grew Middle-earth™ gaming across the US, building clubs and supporting tournaments from Texas to Maryland.
- Steve Morrison expanded a local Age of Sigmar club from just 4 to 180 players, leading army donation drives for underprivileged hobbyists.
- Tom Megens became the cornerstone of Dutch Warhammer, organizing massively popular tournaments with a reputation for inclusivity and competitive excellence.
- Matthias Weeks, co-founder of AdeptiCon, helped grow it into one of the world’s biggest tabletop events, bringing thousands of fans together every year.
- Gelber Ricardo Cueva Núñez reignited the hobby scene in Arequipa, Peru, breathing life into events and building a thriving new community.
- Filippo Floris leads Sardinia’s Warhammer scene through the Officina del Mek group, a vital force keeping the hobby alive and growing on the island.
- Stephen Manton-Kelley turned a small request into a global MS Society fundraiser, painting nonstop for 24 hours and inspiring hobbyists worldwide.
