More Dakka Detachment Nerfed!

The Warhammer Design Studio has rolled out adjustments to the Orks’ “More Dakka!” Detachment, aiming to balance its overwhelming firepower that has recently dominated the tabletop.

Key Changes:

  • Detachment Rule Update: Previously, Ork Infantry and Walker units benefited from [Sustained Hits 2] during the Shooting phase. Now, they gain the [Assault] ability passively, allowing them to advance and shoot. The [Sustained Hits 1] ability is now activated only during the Waaagh!
  • Stratagem Adjustments:
    • Get Stuck In, Ladz!: This Stratagem’s cost has increased from 1CP to 2CP and now excludes Gretchin units, aligning with the thematic intent that they aren’t considered part of “the ladz.”
    • Long, Uncontrolled Bursts: This Stratagem now applies only to a single Ork unit that hasn’t been selected to shoot yet, rather than granting the entire army the ability to ignore cover when targeting a specific enemy unit

These modifications are designed to maintain the Orks’ characteristic firepower while ensuring a more balanced and enjoyable experience for all players. The updated detachment rules are effective immediately and can be accessed through the Warhammer 40,000 app.
