The Chaos pantheon has never been one for sharing the spotlight. With the Emperor’s Children basking in recent glory, it was only a matter of time before Khorne, Nurgle, and Tzeentch demanded their due.
Now, each has something monumental to unleash upon the galaxy – and they’re not holding back.
World Eaters: The Slaughterbound Rises
Khorne’s most bloodthirsty followers welcome a terrifying new champion – the Slaughterbound, a frenzied warrior so consumed by violence that they share their soul with a Bloodthirster. This Eightbound leader is as unstoppable as he is unholy.

Alongside this monster comes the Codex: World Eaters, packed with lore, miniatures showcases, and rules. Like the Emperor’s Children, the World Eaters now include their daemonic allies in the same book. You’ll be able to run Bloodletters, Skull Cannons, Bloodthirsters, and more across five unique detachments.
Death Guard: Pestilent Legions Reforged

The Lord of Poxes heralded their return, and now the Codex: Death Guard delivers a full suite of six detachments for fielding Nurgle’s rankest rotters. This updated codex folds Nurgle Daemons into the force, allowing for a seamless blend of Plague Marines, Great Unclean Ones, and everything in between.

Thousand Sons: Sorcery and Steel
Tzeentch’s devotees unveil a disturbing new addition to their arsenal – the Sekhetar Robots. These towering arcane machines are etched with illusion-warping runes, allowing them to hold advantageous positions and devastate foes with hellfyre missiles and arcane weaponry.

The new Codex: Thousand Sons contains rules for these mechanical sentinels alongside classic daemonic allies like Flamers, Horrors, and Kairos Fateweaver, all wrapped up in five deeply thematic detachments.
Special Editions and the Symbol of Chaos
Each of these three new codexes will also receive a Special Edition, mirroring the style of the Emperor’s Children release. These deluxe tomes include themed accessories and a unique medallion piece – collect all four (including Slaanesh’s) to complete a full Chaos Star. While Khorne’s and Nurgle’s editions have been revealed, Tzeentch’s remains shrouded in mystery… for now.
What About the Daemons?
With each god-aligned codex now including their daemonic legions, you might wonder what this means for standalone daemons. There won’t be a Codex: Chaos Daemons this time around. Instead, the updated Index: Chaos Daemons remains your go-to for a pure Warp-spawned army.
Each of the free Grotmas detachments for Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle, and Slaanesh remains fully legal in all formats of play, giving you an array of thematic tools. As new codexes drop, the digital Index will be updated with fresh Datasheets and points – and yes, Karanak will be returning to the Index.
The Forces of Chaos March On
The battlefield is becoming increasingly hostile – and the gods of Chaos are clearly not content to sit back and let others have their day. These new codexes promise a deeper, more cohesive experience for each of the four Great Powers. But who will stand against them?
